.:: IN THE NEWS ::. Due to the conversion of digital broadcast television the FCC is requiring all broadcasting sites to move all programming above channel 50 to lower channels. MVTVD was able to acquire the needed channel assignment and relocate all existing frequencies below channel 50. In addition to the seven analog licenses owned by MVTVD, the district was able to secure four digital licenses for the valley.
